How do I look for jobs?
Tired of waiting for the jobs to come to you? You can always browse our job board!
After logging in, click the Apps icon in the top right, and click the Jobs icon.
You’re going to see some blank fields here – Don’t panic! We have a big database, and we need you to tell us what kind of jobs you’re interested in before we show you some results.
We can even let you search multiple job boards! Click the job board you want to search on, give us some search terms (like a job title or a company name), and a location. Then click Search! If you’d like, you can enter some additional filters to get more specific results.
How do I upload my resume?
When you first sign up for a job seeker profile, you’ll be prompted to upload a resume file to help get you started. If you skipped this and wish to upload your resume later, or wish to upload a new version of your resume, sign in and click the Profile icon in the top right.
From here, click My Profile to be taken to your profile page. In the top right of the profile page, click Actions, and select Replace my Profile from the menu.
Clicking this will clear your resume of all contents, and let you start from scratch with a resume upload.
Again, keep in mind, this process will erase all resume information you currently have. Be careful!
I’m getting job invites I don’t want.
With Magnet, job invites will come to you. To control what kinds of jobs you’re being invited to, just edit your Job Preferences.
To find this, log in, and click Jobs under the Apps menu.
Now from the menu on the left, click Job Preferences.
Here, you can specify what kind of jobs you’re interested in. Keep in mind, this will exclude you from being invited to jobs that don’t match these requirements in future!
How do I reset my password?
The password for your Magnet account can be reset in one of two ways.
If you are logged in to your account already, click the Profile icon in the top right:
Select My Settings from this menu, and scroll down to the Password section. Enter a new password here, and click Save to update your password.
If you are unable to log in or do not remember your current password, you must use the “Forgot Password” link on the sign in page. Simply click the link labeled “Forgot Password?” located to the right of the Login button. You will be prompted to enter your email address.
Within a few moments, you will receive an email to the specified address, containing a link with further instructions to reset your password. Please check your Junk Mail folder if you do not find this email in your inbox.
I never received a confirmation email.
Upon creating a new account, a confirmation email will be sent to the email address used to register the account. This email will contain a link necessary to activate your account.
Please ensure you search your Junk Email folder, in case this email was trapped in a junk mail filter.
If you cannot find this email, attempting to log in again will give you the option to re-send the confirmation email.
If you still have not received the email, please notify Customer Support via email, at support@whoplusyou.com. Please ensure you send this email from the same address you registered with.
